This guy hangs out outside of Amoeba sometimes and I also saw him open up for Justin Townes Earle.
He is as old timey as one can get in this day and age. This video is beautiful and I just love how haunting a banjo can sound. Why is that? It seems so chaotic.

Sometimes I get into the idea of being really awesome at something, and lately that something has been playing the guitar like Son House. I saw this video last night and it just cut me down to size.
